I am an Assistant Professor of Management at the City University of Hong Kong.

My research seeks to understand how emerging technologies influence work and organizations. As an ethnographer, I use fieldwork and draw on observations, interviews, and archival data to identify empirical puzzles that cannot be explained by existing theory.

My dissertation focused on AI development within an elite teaching hospital in China and was recognized as a finalist for the 2021 INFORMS/Organization Science Dissertation Proposal Competition.

I earned my Ph.D. from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
